Join us for the White Clay Watershed Association Annual Meeting
Doors open at 6:30pm.
Presentation: ‘Uncovering White Clay Creek’s Historic Floodplain’ at 7pm. A research project conducted by Franklin & Marshall College and Landstudies.
Over time, sediment trapped behind historic mill dams has buried the White Clay Creek’s original floodplain, changing the valley’s natural functions. This project will dig beneath those layers to reconstruct what the landscape looked like before settlement, using scientific techniques and detailed visual documentation to tell that story and share it with the community.
